Viking Foods, Inc

Viking Foods, Inc will now be working together with Food for the Poor organization to help raise funds. The donations will be gathered by the Viking Walk, Step to Stomp Hunger T-shirts, and Green Giant canned corn. Donations collected from the Green Giant canned corn will be divided out between Viking Foods, Inc and Food for the Poor. The donations collected from the t-shirts will be divided out between Viking foods, Inc, Food for the Poor, and the other participating businesses of the Viking Walk.

                

The Viking Walk will be held on Oct 24^th, 2011. All businesses on the main business blocks will be participating in the vent along with the grocery store of Viking Foods. Each business will have a donation box and a raffle box available at the main counter. Customers can donate $1 for one ticket up to five tickets per person. There will also be booths available with information on the Walk, Food for the Poor, and the other participating businesses. 

                

Another way of helping Food for the Poor out is by having a poll set up on the company website. The poll will be asking customers and viewers if the organization is doing all it can to help feed the poorest of the poor or even list the events that the viewers and customers think  are the best with the option of commenting with a new idea. There will also be a survey on the website. If a customer completes the survey and the poll then they can print out a $5 off coupon from the site. When a poll is completed, a number will be either emailed or texted to the customer and that is the same number that will be entered into the survey.
